Toungue Placement Aftercare and Healing

The toungue piercings is a barbell through the center of the tongue. They are generally placed vertically at the center of the tongue in front of the "webbing" or lingual frenulum to avoid damaging nerve system .

Usually, a tongue piercing is located in the center of the tongue to avoid hitting a nerve, and to avoid damaging the tissue beneath the tongue that connects the tongue to the bottom of the mouth. It takes 4-6 weeks for A tongue piercing to fully heal.
